This course is designed to provide participants with an overview of municipal finance issues in Kansas. It will help city officials address the responsibility of fiscal operations at the local level to ensure effective service to your community. This course will cover budgeting and financial management; cash management; accounting; auditing; reporting; and fraud awareness, protection, and prevention.

The cost to attend this MTI course is $75 for members, $100 for nonmembers. The course has been approved for 0.75 CMC/MMC education points. 

The deadline to enroll is Friday, May 2. Cancellations must be in writing and received by May 2 for your registration fee to be waived. Cancellations must be emailed to Rynae Redd. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.  

This course will be taught live via webinar, but all registered participants will receive a copy of the video presentation. The video will be available for registered participants to watch after the training. You do not have to attend the live webinar to receive the information and get materials.

Registered participants have exclusive access to this training. Anyone watching the training (whether in its entirety or coming in and out of the room) must register and pay the course fee.
