The League is always searching for willing host cities to hold Municipal Training Institute (MTI) courses and League Legislative Dinner.

The criteria to host an MTI is listed below: 

• Facility able to comfortably hold 40-50 people for a classroom set up. Set up and tear down of the room is provided by the city; 
• Provide coffee and water the morning of the MTI; 
• A/V capabilities including a projector and WIFI or reliable internet access; 
• Provide the name of a local caterer who can provide lunch and deliver to facility; and 
• Space for lunch catering in the room or adjacent to the MTI classroom. 

As a thank you for hosting an MTI, the host city will receive one free admission to the MTI for a staffer/elected official of your choice. 

The criteria to host a League City Forum is below: 

• Facility able to comfortably hold up to 50 people with a banquet set up at no charge to the League. Set up and tear down of the room is provided by the city; 
• A/V capabilities including a projector and WIFI or reliable internet access; 
• Provide the name of a local caterer who can provide dinner and deliver to facility; and 
• Space for dinner catering in the room or adjacent to the dinner facility.
