2026 city forums

Join us for the League's 2026 City Forums. See below for specifics on dates, times, and locations as each one slightly varies.

These annual gatherings provide a unique platform for city officials and key personnel to connect, exchange ideas on the daily challenges faced by cities, and stay abreast of recent legislative developments at both state and local levels. League staff will help lead the discussion and answer questions, and Legislators are invited and encouraged to attend.

We hope you take this important opportunity to network with local officials to discuss legislative issues, challenges your city may be facing, or help identify areas of focus for the organization.

Registration fee varies by location based on the time of the event and whether a full meal or only light refreshments are served.

Written cancellations must be made at least three days prior to the listed RSVP date for each meeting, or the participant will be responsible for payment. Cancellations by phone will not be accepted, please email Rynae Redd.

If your city is interested in hosting future forums, please reach out to Kate Cooley.

For this location, a portion of the time will also be dedicated to a discussion centered on the extension of the League's Strategic Plan. In 2023, the League began a three-year strategic plan to help move the organization forward. This calendar year is the end of that three-year cycle, so discussions to reestablish some of the goals and objectives of the current plan as well as help identify potential new goals will be the focus.

Members of the League's Governing Body will also be in attendance.

This location will include a buffet dinner.
