The League is committed to advocating on behalf of all cities in Kansas. League staff members testify many times and provide current updates to keep cities informed about legislative happenings through League News, Webinars, Legislative Alerts, and social media. Staff reviews all bills introduced to see if they affect cities. Additionally, the League serves as the coordinating entity for representatives of cities and counties by hosting weekly meetings during session and also provides briefings and assistance to representatives from individual cities.
