Coaching program
coaching for local officials
The League of Kansas Municipalities is proud to partner with the University of Kansas Public Management Center (PMC) to provide coaching opportunities for Kansas local officials. Through this partnership, League members can access confidential, professional coaching designed specifically for leaders in public service.
Why Coaching?
Leadership in local government is demanding. City officials are often asked to navigate complex issues, balance competing priorities, and guide their organizations through change. Coaching provides a confidential space to think
strategically, strengthen leadership skills, and gain practical tools for success. What KU PMC Coaching Offers
The KU Public Management Center is the professional development arm of KU’s School of Public Affairs & Administration. Its coaching program connects leaders with experienced coaches who understand the unique challenges
of public service.
