The Kansas Municipal Insurance Trust (KMIT) has provided workers’ compensation coverage to cities since 1994, and is dedicated to creating a safe and productive workplace for city employees through cost effective administration, claims management, and loss control services. KMIT is endorsed by the League of Kansas Municipalities, has 160 member cities plus the League, and is governed by an eleven-member Board of Trustees. Don Osenbaugh is the Pool Administrator, a position he has held since 2001.
