The KMA Bylaws provide for a nine member board structure, as follows
- Six mayors to be chosen, one from each of the six KDOT regions;
- Three at-large mayors from any city; and
- Immediate past president shall serve as ex officio, non-voting member of the board
The Kansas Mayors Association cordially invites nominations from an mayor with an interest in serving in one of the open positions of director. Nominations may also be submitted by one city official on behalf of another, with
the mayor's consent. Please submit a nomination by Friday, October 3, 2025 to be considered for the upcoming term. Please note that we do take nominations year-round, and your nomination may be considered for
appointments to fill vacancies.
