Organizations: ICMA, KACM, LKM, EKGFOA, GFOA, ULCC Aaron is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration through the City County Management Fellowship at the University of Kansas, expected graduation of May 2026. As part of this program, he is participating in a Management Internship with the City of Mission Hills, Kansas to which he has been promoted from, currently the Assistant to the City Administrator for Mission Hills, KS. He holds a bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the KU School of Public Affairs and Administration, along with a minor in Project Management and a professional certificate in Arts Engagement. His academic accomplishments include induction as a life member into several honor societies, including the KU chapters of the National Academic Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Pi Alpha Alpha, and the Global Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration. Aaron is also a life member of Alpha Alpha Alpha, the International Honor Society for First Generation high ed. graduates. Additionally, Aaron is recognized as a 2024-2025 University of Kansas Madison and Lila Self Memorial Graduate Scholar. For his graduate level work, Aaron received Scholarship awards from John Nalbandian Public Service, Darwin W. Daicoff, Alan E. Sims fund, and Self Memorial Fellowship. Aaron is dedicated to lifelong learning beyond his academic pursuits. He actively runs his family-owned small business, which was founded in 2015, after spending fourteen years as a professional musician. He finds fulfillment and self-realization in his roles as a husband, father, and stepfather. His unwavering commitment to personal growth is driven by his dedication to serving his family and community. |
