With a master’s degree in organizational management and leadership, my career began in the United States Air Force, where I specialized in logistics, resource management, and strategic communication. Over the years, I’ve honed my expertise through roles in program management for Joint Base San Antonio exercises and inspections, overseeing compliance and coordinating efforts for thousands of participants. In addition to my professional pursuits, I have contributed significantly to academic and community initiatives, including collaborative work with Coffeyville Community College to support its growth and mentor faculty members. My focus on team dynamics shapes my approach, creating spaces where people feel valued, empowered, and enter into a fail-forward approach. My strategic 1-year plan focuses on community development, volunteer engagement, and economic growth. I am committed to building a vibrant and resilient Cherryvale by implementing goals around volunteer recruitment, grant acquisition, business support, and urban initiatives. Outside of work, I am passionate about horticulture, cultural arts, diplomacy, and non-profit organization oversight, embodying a well-rounded vision that integrates both professional and personal growth. |
