Effective and well-managed planning and zoning regulations are essential to building better cities. This webinar will review common planning and zoning actions, applicable statutes, and required procedures while also taking a closer look at best practices in managing these (sometimes contentious) processes. Topics will include review of comprehensive plans, BZA actions, and rezoning, as well as practical guidance on quasi-judicial proceedings, due process, and ex parte communications.

Cost to attend this course is $50 for members and $75 for nonmembers. Anyone watching the training (whether in its entirety or coming in and out of the room) must register and pay the course fee. 

The webinar has been approved for 2 CLE hours for attorneys and 0.5 CMC/MMC education points. Attorneys wanting to obtain CLE credit, must watch the training live.
