Grants are an important tool in your community’s toolbox. K-State
Research and Extension has served 2,146 Kansans in Grant Writing
Workshops since 2016. Within 16 months of a grant workshop, 34% of
attendees responded to a survey and reported writing $41.8 million of
successful grants. At this workshop you will learn sources of data to
document your community’s needs, where to find grants, elements of a
great grant proposal, and practice the grant elements. Presenters include: Nancy Daniels, Community Vitality Specialist, K-State Research and Extension; Sara Bloom, Community Development Specialist, Kansas Commerce; Jason Fizell, Housing Development Liaison, Kansas Housing Resources Corporation; and Matt Hanson, Capacity Extension Team Lead, Kansas Infrastructure Hub
The course fee is $115 for League members and $130 for non-members. This course has been approved for 1.5 CMC credits. Please
be sure to register with an email you actively check as this is how you
will receive any supplemental materials the day before the training
before the end of day. Cancellations must be made three business days prior to the event for a full refund. Cancellations must be in writing to Rynae Redd; no phone cancellations will be accepted.
