Cybersecurity is the body of technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, computers, programs, and data from attack, damage, or unauthorized access. Cities, whether they realize it or not, are under attack on a daily basis. This course will provide important information for cities to protect themselves from cyber incidents or breaches, understand the responsibility parameters required under state and federal law, and identify best practices for educating all municipal employees, elected officials, and residents in Kansas communities.

The MTI will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost to attend this course is $75 for members, $100 for nonmembers. Lunch and materials provided. Register online at www.lkm.org/eventsYour city will be invoiced after the class is finished.
