Cities provide the services your residents rely on each day for comfort and quality of life. From water, sewer, fire, and police protection, cities are the key to managing the functions which form a community. This course will provide important information for elected officials and staff to get a broad overview of city departments, what they do, and the best practices for managing these services. The course is presented by Trey Cocking, Deputy Director, and Eric Smith, Deputy General Counsel, League of Kansas Municipalities. 

The MTI will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost to attend this course is $75 for members, $100 for nonmembers. Lunch and materials provided. Register online at city will be invoiced after the class is finished.


Cancellations must be in writing and received three days prior to the training for your registration fee to be waived. The cancellations must be emailed to Megan Gilliland. Phone cancellations will not be accepted.
