Coloring My Community
Civic engagement is at the core of successful cities, and the League of Kansas Municipalities strives to encourage strong cities and community pride. As part of that goal, the League supports teachers as they address the Third-Grade Civics-Government Benchmarks by offering a student coloring book that covers the important services that cities provide. Please encourage your local elementary teachers to download and use the workbook, which is available at the following link:
