The League of Kansas Municipalities is proud to present our annual City Hall Day on February 1, 2012.
City officials from all across the state will gather for an exciting and informative day. In the morning, visit with your legislators about issues that are important to your community. In the afternoon, LKM policy committees will meet to discuss pending legislation, the “If I Were Mayor Awards” will be handed out, and we will hear presentations from legislative leaders. City officials are then invited to join us for an evening reception with legislators at the Capitol Plaza Hotel. All legislators are being invited to this event.

Contact your House and Senate members in advance to schedule meetings to discuss issues of concern to your city along with the LKM Action Agenda. Parking Note: Parking in the underground Capitol garage (accessible from 8th & Harrison) is limited to 2 hours. There is limited metered parking around the Capitol as well. |

New this year! - Join us as the LKM policy committees meet to discuss up-to-the-minute developments on pending legislation. This is an ideal opportunity to learn about and influence League policy on a variety of key issues. |

Following the legislative presentations, city officials are invited to join us for a reception with legislators. All legislators will be receiving an invitation to attend, however, please contact your legislators directly and invite them to participate. |
