Notice is hereby given that the sealed proposals for the construction of a metal building in Meriden, Kansas, for the Jefferson County Ambulance Service, said work known as the Jefferson County EMS Station #2, will be received at the office of the Jefferson County Clerk until exactly 4:00 p.m. on the 24th of February, 2012 and then publicly opened at the Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners meeting on Monday, February 27th, 2012. The project to be constructed is briefly described as follows: Erect and finish a 60' x 40' x 14' metal building, together with any incidental work necessary and included to complete the EMS Station #2.

Bid packets may be collected between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Jefferson County Ambulance Service Administrative Office located at 1250 Walnut St. Oskaloosa, KS 66066. The bid packet outlines the specifics of the bid policy, bid procedure, important dates, contractor requirements and the engineered plans and specifications required for completion.

IN ORDER FOR A BID TO BE CONSIDERED: ALL BIDDERS MUST ADHERE TO THE GUIDELINES AS OUTLINED IN THE BID PACKET.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any or all technicalities.
