• Address equal opportunity concerns throughout the State of Kansas, pertaining to employment, housing, and public accomodations.

• Collect and disseminate information for persons engaged in the improvement of equal opportunity.

• Plan and conduct equal opportunity or human relations related education and training programs.

• Make recommendations to the governing body of the League of Kansas MunicipalitiesParticipate in League of Kansas Municipalities activities to advance equality and equity among all Kansans.

• Assist Kansas human rights commissions, organizations, and communities in addressing equal opportunity, discrimination, and human rights issues, at their request.

• Engage in activities consistent with the mission of the Association, as the membership may deem appropriate.

• Prevent and respond to discrimination and human rights issues in the State of Kansas.
